EVEN-STRENGTH RATING
Rating (risk/reward rating) represents how many more successful plays each player makes than successful plays per-minute played. Rating are impacted by how involved a player is in the play. The more events they are involved in per-minute the higher their rating can become.
With limited minutes, Daniel Carcillo produced the top rating among Rangers in game 2. Other forwards with solid ratings in game 2 include; Martin St. Louis, and Rick Nash. Joe Girardi had the top rating among defensmen in game 2.
Kevin Klein had the lowest rating among d-men in game 2, after producing the top rating in game 1. The lowest rating among New York forwards in game 2 was produced by Dominic Moore.
Looking at team ratings, the Rangers had a higher rating than the Habs in game 1, but the Habs had the better rating in game 2. New York defensemen saw their rating drop significantly in game 2, while the Habs d-core produced similar ratings in both games.
New York forwards had a better rating in game 1, while the Habs forwards had the better rating in game 2.

Ratio represents the number of successful events each player produced for every 1 failed event.
