If you've ever wished your pad looked like a hotel suite, this luxurious home might be the right source of inspiration for you. Using the Big Apple as muse, its owner achieved the look of a fancy hotel room by using exclusive materials, clean surfaces and a sober color scheme with rich color punches. Having stained the floors dark was key in making the apartment look sophisticated and urban. Of course, for me the blood orange pendant over the coffee table is the pièce de résistance—a clever way of centering the living area. Another cool trick was the use of white sheer curtains to create an alcove bedroom, enough to make it private when desired. A job well done! On that note... have a delicious weekend!
