The first day of NYCC began as one might expect: gearing up (Doctor Who T-shirt, cargo pants, super-sized backpack, iPad, extra bag) and running out to the train station. Rather than deal with paying for a hotel room in New York City, I’m electing to commute in and out, as I live rather close. The nasty weather forced a switch from NJ Transit to a PATH train on the way in, so I’m glad I left early.
First up: a walk over to the advance screening of the pilot for “Once Upon a Time”, with a stop at the Uncharted 3 multiplayer demo along the way:
Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, the executive producers and head writers for “Once Upon a Time”, gave a short talk about plans for the show. (A recording of the discussion will be featured in a future episode of the Critical Myth Podcast.)
