New Year Social Style 2014

The party season is over?  Is it?  Well according to to the standard rules of January yes, but who says we need to follow the rules?!I have decided as a New Years Resolution I am going to have an active January... but that's come to a stand still as I currently have chicken pox #9which I haven't a clue how I've caught)  Illness aside I have decided to be a social butterfly and see and  do lots, so I've created some looks for various social gatherings.

I've clashed quite a bit but somehow I feel it works and of course is all rich, warming tones for a crisp January look.  I'd certainly say this was perfect look for a catch up over a coffee with a friend... what do you think? Dinner with the boyfriend

I adore this French Connection black dress as there is a perfect combination between chic but sexy, which is quite honestly ideal for a romantic meal out. Instead of keeping the look with dark color throughout I've simply splashed a touch of yellow and used the hashtag Anna Lou of London #Gorgeous to give it a playful edge.... plus are those shoes not the most amazing things?!

If you read my blog you'll know I love to practice yoga, so I know that there will many of you wanting to try something new and active in 2014 and yoga is great option.  Yoga is possibly the easiest fitness activity for looking stylish and with this look I've gone for simple style, but you'll notice there is a cheeky bottle of Nip + Fab Yoga Blend for the ultimate relaxation after your class!

Life has been so hectic for me recently that I just haven't had the time to have much of a social life.  I know it's sad.  However, the new year I said I was going to get dressed up and go out much more!  I've selected the perfect outfit for a night of cocktails with the girls - sparkles, sparkles, sparkles!!

I managed  to go out on Boxing Day with the masses in the UK to embrace the eagerly awaited sale of the year.  A lot of the sale are still going on and it's always suggested you wear something comfy which is why I've selected the items I have, plus how gorgeous is that pink coat? It's from F&F!
