New Transportation Rules Announced to Protect Canadian Travellers

New regulations for Canadian air carriers were announced today by federal transport minister Marc Garneau that are aimed at protecting travellers. The regulations include mandates for carriers to provide status updates every 30 minutes for flights that are late or cancelled, and some of the regulations are scheduled to take effect July 15.
