The first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the successful prequel Rise of the Planet of the Apes has arrived.

The film is set a decade after a devastating virus has wiped out much of humanity (remember remember the Rise’s post-credits sequence?). Caesar now leads a growing nation of genetically evolved apes which is threatened by a band of human survivors. A fragile peace proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war.
Matt Reeves directs this $120 million-budget outing which is targeting a July 11th 2014 release.
