Two new variants of the Hyundai Exter have been launched in India ahead of the festive season. The new trim brings two sunroof features in a more affordable way. The new Exter S(O)+ variant has been priced at Rs 7.86 lakh. On the other hand, the Exter S+ AMT will cost Rs 8.44 lakh (ex-showroom).
Until now, the single pane sunroof was available from the SX trim of the Hyundai Exter. The new S(O)+ trim makes the sunroof feature cheaper by Rs 37,000 on the manual variant. On the other hand, the Hyundai Xter with S+ AMT sunroof is cheaper by Rs 46,000 on automatic variants.
After Tata Altroz, Hyundai Exter is currently the cheapest car with sunroof in India. Sunroof is available on the Tata Altroz XM S trim, priced at Rs 7.45 lakh. Apart from the sunroof, all the features of the two new trims of the Hyundai Exter are carried over from the lower variants. Buyers will get digital instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear AC vent, all power windows, follow me headlamps, etc.

Standard safety features of Hyundai Exter include six airbags, 3 point seatbelts on each seat, tire pressure monitoring system, ESC, ABS, EBD, Hill Hold Assist. Under the hood of this micro SUV is a 1.2 liter four cylinder petrol engine producing 83 horsepower and 114 Nm of torque.
