I'm back to painting with acrylic on small panels. These are only 11" x 14" which is the smallest size I can remember painting in a LONG time. I don't mind drawing in a small format, but I'm not used to painting in this size.
I was thinking "impressionist floral" as I worked on this piece, using spots of color in reds and oranges, with a background in unbleached titanium and parchment. I added highlights in yellow and white, and lines drawn in cobalt green.
