New Review Guidelines! Authors Please Read Before Using Blogger Contact Form!

NEW BOOK REVIEW GUIDELINES:
If you are an author and would like to have me consider your book for review please take the time to look over these guidelines.
The most important thing I need to make sure you know and understand is that my schedule is just insane. The wait for a book review will be a lengthy one. If you need the review done immediately you will probably want to find a different reviewer.
If time is not an issue, please fill out the blogger contact form and I will back to you as soon as humanly possible.
GENRES:
Please look this over carefully.
I only review books that fit into the following genres:
Mystery/ Suspense/ Thriller: This includes cozy, romantic suspense, detective, hard boiled, psychological, legal, medical thrillers.
Romance: Contemporary, Historical, Women's Fiction, Chick-lit, and occasionally Paranormal.
I DO NOT review romance with the following elements: Christian, religion, Amish, same sex, menage, or bondage or other hard core erotica.
If your novel contains high heat, is steamy, spicy,sensual that is fine. Sweet romance is fine too as long as it's not religious.

Non-fiction ( read to the end of the list to see if your book falls into any of the other categories)
Genres I will consider but are not my first choice are:

Science Fiction
High Fantasy
I will review books that fall into these categories, but since I rarely chose to read within these genres I do not feel as comfortable giving reviews for them.
I DO NOT review in these genres. Please do not fill out the form if you write in the following genres. I make no exceptions.

Middle Grade
Erotica/bondage/menage/same sex
Technical manuals
Self Help
Philosophy
Metaphysical
Occult ( non-fiction)
Politics
Graphic Novels or Comics or Anime
While I try to help as many authors as I possibly can, I simply can not reply to all the request. Once your book has been chosen for review, please be patient. It could be months before I can get to it. Please do not repeatedly contact me for updates. I will contact you when the review is done.
I will not post a one star review. If I was unable to finish the book I will email you.
Once the review has been written and posted, I will not under any circumstances take it down or edit it. Do not contact me in any way in regards to this policy. If I made an error in the review, which has happened on occasion, or if there was a major gaffe in facts, I will of course fix it. Other than that the review will stand- “AS IS” If you would rather I not post the review to Amazon, GR, etc. I will comply with your request. Otherwise, the review will be posted to Goodreads and Amazon. I may or may not chose to add it to my blog. It will depend upon my schedule. If there is another book site you would like the review posted to such as Shelfari or LibraryThing feel free to ask and I will try to get that done for you.
