New Resources from Striving Together!

Each year at this time, we see the culmination of a full year’s worth of work from our entire Striving Together team. I’m so thankful for the publications team at Striving Together—their hard work, their spirit, their expertise is just awesome! Here is a quick list and description of all the exciting new projects we’ve been working on. We pray that these will be helpful to your church family.

NEW BOOKS:

Stewarding Life by Pastor Paul Chappell—this book is filled with biblical wisdom on stewarding the greatest gifts and highest priorities of God. Each chapter will challenge you to view your life from an eternal perspective.

Emotional Victory by Bud Calvert—this book will give you a biblical perspective on your “feelings.” People who are led by their emotions always end up in a mess, and this resource will help any Christian discern the difference between lying emotions and truth. It is a great counseling resource.

Trusting God in Troubled Times by Pastor R.B. Ouellette—this book will encourage you or someone you love during a difficult time. Whether it’s the bad economy, a personal tragedy, or a desire to simply understand God’s heart in hardship, every chapter of this book will strengthen your faith!

Hope for My Hometown by Pastor Dave Teis—this book tells the amazing and inspiring story of the planting of Liberty Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV. It will encourage the heart of any Christian—especially pastors and church planters.

Sacred Motives by Pastor Paul Chappell—this book reaches deep into the heart and examines “why” we do what we do. It covers ten biblical motivations that should stir us every day to continue faithfully living for God.

The Blessed Life by Ken McCoy—this minibook focuses on four biblical principles that God promises to bless! It’s a great read for any Christian.

The Purpose of the Lord’s Table—this is a booklet that simply explains the biblical origin and significance of the local church ordinance of the Lord’s Table.

BIBLE CLASS CURRICULUM and DISCIPLESHIP

Living Beyond Your Capacity by Pastor Paul Chappell—This curriculum is based upon the book by the same title and is an in-depth study of the ministry and person of the Holy Spirit of God.

Walking Through Fire by John Goetsch—This curriculum is a verse by verse study of 1 Peter that closely examines that trial of our faith.

Student Journey by John Honeycutt—This curriculum is a 26 lesson teen discipleship curriculum designed for students to take students through in 20 minute sessions. It’s a great student ministry resource.

The Choice is Yours by Terrie Chappell—This curriculum is based upon the book by the same title, and provides a great Bible study resource for ladies!
