Considering the last few tasters of Foo Fighters albums have been Wheels, Pretender and In Your Honour you either feel it’s impossible to carry on such a run or Dave Grohl has mastered the art of making tracks that epitomise the band and give the fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for.
Here it is heavier, which is what all the talk has been about. It’s not as catchy as past offerings but then nor was Wheels and that still slays live and it’s got to be remembered that live is where the pay off is for Foo fans.
You really have to go check them out live, I’m not even a great fan of Foo Fighters but I still say it’s one of the best gigs i’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to a lottagreat gigs.
White Limo is Dave Grohl at his growliest and Foo Fighters at their heaviest. This summer is going to be sweaty.
