YEEEESSSS!!!! A band with actual no foolin’ substance! Sure, musically they could’ve been around in 2005 and been compared to the Time for Heroes mindset of Libertines and the Jing Jong Jangle guitars of Strokes but here today in 2014 more intelligent and favourably affable comparisons come to mind of The Crookes and look, I liked this band I know they got a stupid amount of hate but- Viva Brother. The former for the songwriting and the latter for the brash indie melodies.
Being the future as it is, it doesn’t really matter where a band is from but it is worth mentioning these retrobates are from Liverpool. I use that word to mean ‘one who refuses to walk the bleeding edge of technology, preferring old, reliable tools‘, whatever is on the radio these days is just digital nonsense and I don’t care if that means I’m old, I’m cool with that. Super cool.
This band are good and they’ve only been around 9 months, get them before they’re hot.
