With Capcom reportedly working on a Nintendo Switch game that will run on the RE Engine, Dusk Golem put an end to the speculation by claiming so Resident Evil 7, as well as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Remakes won't come to the hybrid console.
I'm going to destroy a dream with my RE Engine on Switch talk:
RE7, RE2 & amp; RE3 does not come to Switch. They once tried porting RE7 to Switch for a while but struggled to get a satisfactory result. RE Engine games for Switch must be built with Switch in mind.

This doesn't mean no resident Evil Games are ever made for the Nintendo Switch, but for fans who want to play the newer entries in the series, they have to do so on current generation consoles.
