In case you hadn’t heard, at the very beginning of the month, I finally debuted my latest venture: Honey + Chai. Honey + Chai is my little online boutique, curated by me and full to the brim of beautiful clothing pieces sourced from artisan clothing designers over in Asia. When I decided to launch my own shop, I wanted it to be a little haven instantly recognisable for its individuality, chicness and personality. Whilst I’m away on holiday (and, ironically, meeting up with some of my best suppliers and designers!), I thought I’d share with you a few of my favorite pieces from the range, newly landed at the shop. ’Jessica’ Bustier Layer Top (£22)
My all-time favorite piece in-store at the moment is the Jessica. I’m totally into the Nineties’ camisole-over-things look and have been since discovering it on a buying trip to Seoul at the start of the year. This one is really sweet with a peplum body and a cuffed sleeve top underneath. Super cute with leather trousers and heels or loafers.
‘Rory’ Embroidered A-Line Denim Skirt (£25)
The Rory was newly renamed following my Gilmore Girls obsession. It’s a super cute denim skirt with floral and hummingbird embroidery - be still my beating heart! - and looks oh so cute with cosy knits and boots. I’ve been styling it with a rollneck jumper and lace-up Doc Marten-esque boots. It comes in two sizes and is just so damn cute.
’Lissie’ Lace Hem Jumper (£22)
One of my customer favourites, Lissie is a soft, knitted jumper with a Fisherman’s Rib knit back and a beautiful, delicate lace hem. It’s a little bit of a throwback to my 2012/2013 wardrobe and I just adore it. Try it with ripped knee jeans and heeled boots.
’Marcella’ Varsity Jumper (£22)
I’ve been wearing the Marcella jumper non-stop since the stock arrived at my studio! Totally inspired by K-pop style, it has a cute V-neck and loose fit. I really like it tucked into midi skirts with heeled ankle boots or with jeans and fresh kicks for a full-on off-duty dream. It comes in two colourways and I really couldn’t recommend it more!
’Lucie’ Lace V-Trim Sweatshirt (£24)
A new addition to the Honey + Chai range, Lucie brings the best of loungewear-as-outerwear together. It’s a cotton French terry number with a cream panel and pretty lace V-shaped trim. I like it worn around the house but it’s also cute with Stan Smiths or loafers and your best straight leg jeans. It’s the kind of thing I envision the lovely Liv in!I also must extend a thank you to my wonderful team, Gem and Rebecca, for their help during this crazy launch period!
