The New gTLD .Cam launched today into general availability.
According to ntldstats.com there were about 80 Sunrise Applications by trademark holders for .cam and pulling the zone file over 80 domain names of the 207 are registered by the registry.
The registry for .Cam is AC Webconnecting Holding B.V. .Cam seems to be the only new gTLD that the company operates.
The backend provider is KSregistry GmbH.
The new domain name extension went through a Sunrise period for trademark holders and then a 7 day EAP period, where the lowest EAP fee that I saw was over $2k.

The annual renewal fee or registration fee seems to be around $30.
There is also a new gTLD of .webcam and .tube which would seems to compete in the space and of course .xxx, .sex and .adult for adult cam domains.
