New GOP State Polls - Minnesota, N. Jersey, N. Hampshire
These are the three latest state polls regarding the GOP race for the presidential nomination. Donald Trump has significant leads in New Hampshire and New Jersey (9 points ahead of Gov. Christie there), but is virtually tied with Scott Walker in Minnesota (one point behind, which is well within the margin of error). That is not a surprise, since Minnesota borders walker's home state of Wisconsin.
Public Policy Polling did the Minnesota survey between July 30th and August 2nd. They questioned a random sample of 353 GOP voters, and the poll has a 5.2 point margin of error.
The New Hampshire numbers come from the WMUR Granite State Poll -- done between July 22nd and 30th of a random sample of 309 GOP voters, and has a 5.6 point margin of error.
The New Jersey numbers are from the Rutgers University Poll -- done between July 25th and August 1st of 263 randomly chosen GOP registered voters, and has a 6.8 point margin of error.
