Yauatcha recently launched a new menu with better than every dumplings, main courses and drinks. There is even a separate focus on vegetarian menu with new and exciting dishes. The outlet comes from a Michelle star restaurant chain with emphasis on being a tea and dumpling house. The ambiance is modern with large open windows where you can relax and have one of the best Chinese food experiences.

We tried a couple of drinks and dishes from the new menu. The Lem Tik Martini and Passion fruit Martini had excellent exotic flavors. The taste of these drinks was quite subtle yet refreshing. We also had the Passion Fruit Mocktail and the Kiwi Lime Mocktail. While the Passion Fruit mocktail had a sweet as well as sour taste. The Kiwi Lime Mocktail was out of the world as it was made out of super fresh Kiwi fruit. Hats off for such an excellent preparation.
At Yauatcha you can try dumplings that are unheard of. The range of dumpling is simply extraordinary. We tried the Asparagus and Water Chestnut Dumpling, Crunchy Iceberg Dumpling, Mandarin Dumpling, Vegetable Poached Peking Dumpling and the Truffle and English Carrot Dumpling. I love their Poached Peking Dumpling which come along with a tangy soy soup. Amazing flavors! The Mandarin Dumpling was made out of rice paper soaked in Mandarin or orange juice is incorporated all the flavors inside.
Next we tried the Shiitake Mushroom and Edamame Fried Rice and the Crispy Spicy Tofu dish. Now here is one dish that you have to absolutely try. The Shiitake Mushroom and Edamame Fried Rice is one of its kind and is best tried with Crispy Spicy Tofu. This Crispy Spicy Tofu dish is made with deep fried Tofu with a special dressing made out of garlic, almonds, spring onions and chillies. The dish is super spicy and the tofu at Yauatcha was so soft that it just amalgamated so well together. Must try!
Yauatcha also added new desserts to its menu and we had the Pear and almond Tart. Made out of Almond Pastry topped with pear compote and finished off with almond cream and salted almond icecream. We taste few macaroons like the Mandarian, Mango and Raspberry. The Macaroons were soft and carried beautiful flavors.
The new menu at Yauatcha made me excited to try some amazing tastes and dishes! The menu is fresh with a blast of flavors and with a plenty of options like never before!
