Earlier these features were released to beta testers. Now the number of people joining the group has been increased. Also, now users will be able to search common groups easily. The company announced the new group features some time back through a blog post. Recently Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp has released WhatsApp for iOS 23.6.74 update on the App Store. The official changelog reveals that the update brings all-new group features for even more users on the stable release of the app.

Now you can make big groups

According to the official changelog, now up to 1024 people can be added to a group. The feature, which was released to some beta testers in October 2022, is being rolled out to everyone. This makes it easy to form large groups.

Group admin will get more control

In addition, WhatsApp group admins are getting more control over their groups. Now they can manage the approval system. To join the group people have to take approval from its admin.
