Google Drive got these new features
In addition to Google Messages, at yesterday’s event, the company announced several safety, security, and privacy updates to its consumer-facing products, including a spam folder in Drive.
Now users will find a new “Spam” folder in the Google Drive sidebar, which will help users separate and review files.
Like Gmail, Google will automatically classify content with spam and abusive content. You can also do this manually for any Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, and Forms file.
Content will be automatically deleted for so many days
It will be permanently deleted from the user’s drive after 30 days in the spam folder. It’s available on Drive for the web, Android, iOS, and desktop. It has started rolling out for personal accounts. Will be offered for workspaces sometime later.
