As automakers and other companies envision strong growth in the electric car market, the load EVs increased by 60%.
In new prospective data released by the International Energy Agency on Monday, the group said that charging point growth comes as car manufacturers prepare for more electric vehicles on the road in the coming years. Load availability is often a critical point - especially in the United States - when it comes to exchanging buyers of cars with an internal combustion engine. As the number of EV chargers increases, the IEA predicts that battery-powered cars will still have a decent year despite the coronavirus pandemic. This year, it should climb slightly to 3%, with around 2.1 million EV sold. In total, 1% of all cars on the road will be electric, according to IEA data.
However, this figure remains a drop from global sales of new cars. Last year, drivers bought about 75 million vehicles. However, as government policies change, we will see a rapid increase in electric vehicles on the road. The IEA indicates that in its "sustainable development scenario", the global stock of electric vehicles on the road will increase to 36% with around 245 million battery cars on the road by 2030. Do not confuse the figure with the electric vehicles sold by the same item by the hour. World stock refers to the number of electric vehicles on the road compared to cars powered by an engine.
