A character Poster for Alexander Skarsgård in Battleship has been released. There are a total of four character poster images and the additional three feature the other stars from the film, Liam Neeson, Rihanna, and John Carter actor Taylor Kitsch.
Based on the game of the same name, Battleship centres around an armada of ships at war with an alien race called ‘The Regents’.
Speaking about the project recently, Skarsgård insisted that Battleship is like an art house movie.
“We actually care about these guys,” the True Blood actor said. “You root for them; you want them to make it.
“I wouldn’t want to be in something big and epic just because it’s big and epic. If I don’t care about the characters, it’s not fun for me as an actor.“
Battleship is released in the UK on April 11 and hits US cinemas on May 18.
