I’ve been wearing my leather cap so often that it was time for a new one, at least for the purpose of variation but also because I’m just really into wearing caps. Luckily Supreme dropped the new collection in their NYC store last week and I went there on Monday for a basic black cap – I actually stood in line for the store to open on a regular Monday – but it was worth it because I had the last one. Obviously (in my case) worn backwards.
Spent the day shopping in East Village yesterday – I love the area and there are some great vintage shops there. I’m never that good at vintage shopping because I either don’t have the patience for it, get tired after 2 racks or just can never seem to find anything, but I did better than ever yesterday! I found the perfect black jeans, vintage Balenciaga for just $80! Also really gorgeous trousers from Elizabeth and James, an oversized check shirt and very cool Adidas sneakers (see them here) that looked like they were never worn before for just $30. Vintage shopping 2.0. After that we strolled around in Greenwich Village ending up in West Village that is now one of my favorite areas in NY, so many cute streets and restaurants!
