New Beer Hitting Local Shelves, Taps Soon

By Marc Wisdom @JaxBeerGuy

duesouthA couple of interesting tidbits were passed on to me recently from none other than Carolyn Graham, Florida Brand Development Manager/District Manager of Brown Distributing – Specialty Division.

The first is that the San Jose outlet of ABC Fine Wine & Liquor has acquired a small amount of Due South brewing beers in cans. If you have not tried this Boynton Beach, Fla. you are missing a real treat. On the shelves for a limited time are the breweries Category 3 IPA, Caramel Cream Ale and Maple Orange Imperial.

The second bit of information she let leak to me is that the much-loved New Orleans brewery NOLA Brewing will soon be distributed in Florida. While the exact beers that will be gracing shelves and taps in Florida have not been announced, we are hoping to get a chance to taste Hopitoulas and Hurricane Saison.
