Some new stuff I've seen in Asda recently...I wouldn't usually feature supermarket own brands but they've done so many interesting dessert variations I just had to! Seems like chocolate orange and toffee flavours are very popular this year!
Chosen By You Chocolate Orange Gateau: this looks delicious!
Free From Mincemeat Crumble Squares: These Christmas squares sound very unique; they're gluten-free and contain crunchy shortcake biscuit with a sweet mincemeat topping. Well done Asda for doing something seasonal that's also gluten-free!
Lovely Bubbly Chocolate Frozen Mousse: I imagine this is like Aero in ice cream form.
Asda Chocolate Orange Ice Cream!: fans of chocolate orange will love this no doubt!
Salted Caramel Sponge Pudding!: it has to taste amazing...
Shloer Berry Punch: Not exclusive to Asda, but I noticed this Limited Edition Berry Punch Schloer there which I presume is for Christmas.
Plus these new Chocolate Flavour Oreo Ice Cream Cones.
As well as new Joy to the Swirled and Minter Wonderland Ben & Jerry's ice creams. I loved Minter Wonderland when they did it years ago so I'm really pleased this is back!
On the subject of mint, I also saw these cool After Eight Limited Edition Big Ben Collectibe Tins at Asda.
Sticky Toffee Gateau...combining that great British classic pud with gateau sounds like a wonderful idea!
Rocky Road Ice Cream: sounds unique!
Asda Chosen By You Chocolate Pie: an American classic, I believe?
Raspberry Ripple Pie: looks tasty!
Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Roll: A new take on the classic "Arctic Roll"...looks tasty!
Choc Fudge Brownie Cheesecake: Again, Asda are combining desserts here...brownies and cheesecake sounds like a fantastic combo!
Chocolate Praline Cheesecake: Hazelnut mousse, praline and cheesecake? I'm sold!
Choc Chip Muffin Cheesecake: Yet more dessert combining...this time muffin and cheesecake.
Tiramisu Cheesecake: Can't decide between tiramisu or cheesecake for dessert? Now you can have both in one!
Toffee Apple Cheesecake: A classic Autumnal flavour!
Chocolate Orange Proftiterole Cheesecake: More dessert combining...as if it wasn't enough to put profiteroles with cheesecake, Asda have added chocolate orange to the mix too!
Bakewell Crumble Tart: Everyone loves bakewell tart right?!
Key Lime Cheesecake: Yum!
Billionaires' Meringue Stack: Meringue, toffee cream, toffee sauce and truffles...sounds amazing!
Ice Cream Trifle: Trifle meets ice cream...intriguing!
Toffee Pecan Roulade: I'm sure Asda have done this before...
Baked Alaska: Really want to try this...
Apple and Berry Lattice Pie: a classc combination!
Toffee Apple Bake: I'm not sure what this is all about...looks like a toffee apple pasty!
Also available in Apple and Blackcurrant.
Forest Fruit Strudel: I haven't eaten strudel in years...
But this Apple and Custard variety might just tempt me!
Aunt Bessie's Toffee Apple Pie: I wouldn't usually buy apple pie, I'd rather make my own...but this toffee apple variety is enough to tempt me!
Special Apple Pie: with butter pastry and spiced apple filling...presumably the spices are what makes it special.
Chocolate Orange Sponge: Sounds delicious...I wonder what's with the chocolate orange trend at Asda this year?
Pepperoni Pizza Slices: Not sure how they manage to put pizza into pastries...I'm sure they just contain cheese, pepperoni and tomato!
Also available in Sausage and Bean...such a British combination!
Thorntons Mini Chocolate Caramel Cake Bites: Not sure how new these are but they sound delicious!
One Direction Singing Toothbrush: Terrible! When will the One Direction onslaught end?!
Muller Corner British Classics...available in Eton Mess and Apple Pie. You can't get more British than that!
Asda Chosen By You Favourite Desserts: in lemon meringue and black forest. Not sure if I'd prefer this or the Muller ones - they all sound nice!
Muller Light by Julien Macdonald: Nice design, if you like that sort of thing when eating yogurt...
Heidi Bouquest Milk & Tiramisu: Some Asda stores have started stocking a brand of chocolates from Heidi, a Swiss chocolate producer. There's many different varieties, look out for them in store!
Heidi Chocolate Tree: This chocolate tree from Heidi looks so cool...it contains florentines and chocolate buttons.
Hope everyone's enjoyed reading...please do let me know in the Comments if you've tried any of these products!
