And to realize that when you take them out there is no place to put them down while you chat with the CrossFit coach. And what about that crazy, slippery case? Sounds like Apple's buds could use some support.

This story was originally supposed to focus on a few individual products - cases, earhooks, and the like - but then I discovered them A single kit that contains pretty much everything an AirPods owner could possibly need - all for $ 6 . (Note that the price for this often jumps by a dollar or two.)
Here's what you get:
- A silicone case in different colors
- A carabiner to attach this suitcase to your belt, backpack or whatever
- Two sets of straps to allow your AirPods to dangle from your neck
- Two sets of ear hooks to improve fit
- Two sets of watch strap holders
- One zippered tote bag for everything
All for a meager six dollars. (Note that the price for this can vary a bit, but the highest price I've seen is $ 8.) I'm not sure why the bundle has two specific things, but I'm not going to get over it Complain extras.
I was there mainly because of the silicone case, because I was tired of not having a grip on Apple's slippery AirPods case. However, this cover adds a little more volume, so the snap hook is a nice advantage: I no longer have to keep the suitcase in my pocket.
I immediately fell in love with the straps that the AirPods dangle around my neck when I want to take them out. (There's extra security there too. I once hit a bug near my ear while running and made an AirPod fly. It almost landed in a puddle.)
The watch strap holder was something I didn't even know existed. But at times when it's not convenient to have your suitcase with you or to use the neck strap, being able to "dock" the AirPods on your wrist comes in handy. These holders tend to slide around a bit, at least on my Apple Watch silicone band, but they should work with any type of watch and band.
The earhooks can be helpful for people who have difficulty holding AirPods in place. However, it's difficult to install, and you can't charge the AirPods without taking them off again. Also, they don't do much to improve noise isolation. for that I would look at something like that AhaStyle silicone ear hooks that sell for around $ 14. They can really help block the sound and add bass.
Finally, the zippered tote bag is a nice little extra to keep all of these things together.
You can easily find all of these items for sale separately, and certainly there are more colors and styles if all you want is an AirPods case. But I think that's $ 6 which is very well spent even using just a few of the items in the kit.
