I stretched some more "tall" canvases 48" high by 10" wide and began some new abstract paintings on them. I am painting in pairs so that they can be hung together. First, I prepared a background by drawing with white, black, yellow, magenta and blue. While the paint was still wet, I brushed over it, dipping my brush in plain water as I worked.
This process blended the colors, but still left the lines showing through. I painted over the canvases twice, first covering the top and bottom and front, then the sides and front. Here are the two canvases:
