Among the surprise adverts for the December Netflix lineup was the addition of the South African- produced animated movie Seal Platoon which will be arriving encyclopedically on December 31st, 2021. Other Netflix regions will also probably admit Seal Team although it’ll vary region-to- region.
The movie, directed by Greig Cameron andco-directed by Kane Croudace sees a group of seals platoon up to against the gang of harpies who have been spooking their neighborhood. Inclusively they form a so- called Seal Team but the reality is they ’re not prepared for the charge they ’re about to embark on. Chaos ensues.
Still, Seal Team seems to be a cross between Disney’s chump movie Valiant and Dreamwork’s Shark Tale, If you ’re looking for two flicks for comparison.
Seal Platoon comes from Detector Fish Vitality workrooms who are grounded “ on a ranch” in Cape Town, South Africa. Their former pictures include Khumba and Adventures in Zambezia.
The movie uses the same vitality ways as The Lego Movie and The Peanuts Movie that specially gives the movie a stop- stir aesthetic despite being made entirely digitally.

Seal Team wo n’t be the only design coming soon from Triggerfish Animation as they’re presently hard at work alongside Cutlet Entertainment on the new Shondaland amped series, Mama K’s Team 4.
The new series comes from Malenga Mulendema and is about four teenage girls living in a futuristic interpretation of Lusaka, Zambia, who are signed by a retired secret agent to save the world.
