The highly anticipated Jennifer Garner family movie Netflix's YES DAY started streaming Friday.
The movie at it's core is all about enjoying one of the priceless gifts God gave us....FAMILY!
As a mother when my children were young it was all about NO NO NO! I stayed stressed out trying to balance raising kids and building a career. In the movie Garner and her husband take advice from a dad who shared with them that he stays stress free by giving his kids a YES DAY every month. It's a time where no matter what your kids ask for as a parent you say yes. (inserts the REALLY emoji)
With another pandemic spring break upon us, I thought I'd share a "YES DAY" family activity book to give you a couple of ways you can challenge your family to a fun day of activities just like in the movie:
1. Make new memories by recreating old family photos.
2. Make a time capsule
3. Let's get moving: Go walking together on a nature trail. This is something my daughter and I enjoy doing together. It gives us time to talk about what's been going on in her life etc....
