Dark Series Director Baran Bo Odar announced on his Instagram account that this series was caused by season 3. The shooting will begin on June 27. Season 3 will also be the last season and this is an official that will not be more seasoned for production. The storyline will find the main leap last season. However, there was no official announcement made about the right release date for the third season. Most likely the 3rd season will be released in the mid 2020.
