If you've even spent a summer professional wrestling, you know that WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon is insane on several levels. This madness will soon be documented in a multi-part biographical series on Netflix.

WWE made the announcement during its third-quarter earnings call with investors on Wednesday, the Wrestling Observer reports. It is produced by WWE and Bill Simmons, who also worked on HBO's 2018 documentary about Andre The Giant. Chris Smith, who directed the documentary for Netflix's Fyre Festival, will lead the project.

McMahon is known around the world for many reasons. He's turned on and off on WWE television for over two decades, most notably during a feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin in the late 1990s. It's also a story that goes from rags to riches. He grew up in a North Carolina trailer house with an abusive stepfather and is now believed to be worth $ 1.6 billion.

WWE & Bill Simmons, who are producing a multi-part Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon, will be one of the highest-budgeted Netflix documents in history.

In wrestling circles, however, McMahon is a more enigmatic and idiosyncratic figure. A notorious workaholic, he posed on the cover of Muscle and Fitness at the age of 70. Many former employees have found how upset he is after sneezing because he should be able to control the physical impulse to sneeze. Other famous stories include the time he dragged and nearly killed a member of the WWE writing team, the time he arrested a false announcement as a prank, and the time he tried to fart someone in the face, but accidentally smudged themselves - moments before I went to the ring for a live TV segment where the camera crew had to shoot his butt.

So yes. The documentary should be interesting. There is still no word on the release date.
