Netflix, one of the most popular OTT platforms in India, is back with another great offering for its customers. The platform will soon allow users to temporarily stop their membership for up to 10 months. If users resume their Netflix subscription within 10 months of cancellation, they will get all of their account settings, history, and saved items.
But please note that the subscription can only be "suspended" at the end of the billing month. The membership pause feature will essentially provide the user with an option instead of canceling their membership. The pause option makes it easier for old users to return to Netflix.
Netflix will introduce more details into the pause subscription feature later. The feature is not available to all Netflix users as it is in its testing phase, so it is available to a limited number of users. The feature will be rolled out worldwide after getting a positive response during the testing phase.
Other recent Netflix developments
Recently, Netflix started testing a brand new Mobile + plan available for Rs 349. The Mobile + plan supports Netflix streaming to computer screens, including Chromebooks, Macs, and Windows.
In addition to multi-device support, the Mobile plan + also offers HD streaming. However, users will not be able to stream to two screens at the same time or watch Netflix on a smart TV. For multiple screens and Smart TV support, you can opt for the Netflix Standard plan.
