At first I thought it was a movie, but soon found out it's a 10 episode series. Even better!
The series focuses on Emily (Lily Collins), an ambitious twenty-something marketing exec who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company - and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy.
"She" decides to have a long distance relationship with her boyfriend and says goodbye to Chicago to live in the City of Love for a year.
Her new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles learning French, winning over her new co-workers, making friends, and navigating new romances.
I watched all ten episodes and found myself wanting more.....
The series is from Darren Star, who brought us some of our favorites like the Sex and the City movies, Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place. Twitter was comparing the series to a younger version of Sex and the City, but I was getting The Devil Wears Prada vibes, either way I enjoyed it!
