Nestlé Purina buys leading pet adoption website Petfinder

June 9, 2013- The popular pet adoption website Petfinder- owned by Discovery Communications LLC of Silver Spring, Md. - is being purchased by Nestlé Purina PetCare Co. Although the price of the website has not been disclosed to the public the sale was announced today and the deal is expected to be completed sometime in July. The sale took place because Discovery Communications LLC is focusing mainly on non-fiction media but the company will continue to support the website through the Petfinder Foundation and advertising with Nestlé Purina PetCare Co.READ MORE!
