Here at neon we love pretzels from the mini to giant to pre-baked to fresh so when Penn State sent us their new Gammon & Mustard flavour we were interested to see how the flavour works with these little rings of magic dough.
Our verdict is: You can taste the gammon flavour and they are very moreish (large bag gone in less that 15 minutes) and if you fancy a change from the usual salted we’d recommend them but good old original Penn State pretzels are still our number one choice.
Pretzel tips: Don’t be tempted by purchases of European imports in corner shops, they are always disappointing, never as perfectly crisp and are not seasoned enough while an honourable mention goes to Waitrose’s giant pretzels for all round satisfaction!
