‘Neighbors’ Performs Well At Midnght, Can It Beat Spidey?

Neighbors made 2.5M last night with 8PM shows. That’s comparable to the total that Ted had for its midnight shows. Obviously, it’s harder to do 2.5M at Midnight than at 8PM, so don’t expect the 50M+ that Ted got over the weekend, but it is now likely that Neighbors will cross 40M, and potentially even beat The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Early word is that Neighbors is outperforming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 during matinees, and that Legends Of Oz will likely underperform and lose third place to a strong third weekend for The Other Woman.
