With the introduction of this feature in the Windows platform, users will now be able to directly transfer files from their PC to Android devices with a single click. This feature will work on devices equipped with these requirements
According to the company, the Nearby Share feature will work only if the user device is equipped with the requirements mentioned below.
- Computers running Windows 10 and above
- Android phones running Android 6.0 and above
- Bluetooth of both devices must be turned on during file transfer
- Both devices must be Wi-Fi or ethernet enabled
- At the time of data transfer, the distance of both the devices should be 16 feet or 5 meters.
