‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Is A Hit

Posted on the 24 September 2014 by Sirmac2 @macthemovieguy

NCIS New Orleans kicked off what is sure to be a long run on TV with 17.1 million viewers last night and a 2.5 rating in the demo. It was the lead out for NCIS, which managed 18 million and a 2.8 in the demo. At 10PM, Person Of Interest lost a huge chunk of the NCIS audience to drop to 10.7 million and 1.8 in the demo. Uh oh.

The Voice hit 13 million and 4.0 in the demo. Chicago Fire followed with 9.4 million and 2.7 in the demo, which matched its all time high. It’s a series on the rise.

Dancing With The Stars results had a 9.6M and 1.6 in the demo. Agents Of SHIELD followed with 5.6 million and 1.9 in the demo, which is kinda low, especially the “in the demo” rating for a show that should skew young. Forever did 6.5 million and 1.7 in the demo. It was down from Monday, but it was the best Tuesday night at 10PM premiere since Detroit 187 in 2010.

Utopia is still crap, with only 1.9 million viewers and 0.8 in the demo. The New Girl had 2.3 million viewers, which still puts it down, and 1.3 in the demo. The Mindy Project landed 2.1 million, and 1.0 in the demo.
