NBC Greenlights Mini’s and Event Movies

NBC has decided to get back in the miniseries/movie business this coming season. The most ambitious project is a 4 hour miniseries, Hillary, about the life of Hillary Clinton, which will star Diane Lane as Hillary. They’re also doing a 4 hour remake of Rosemary’s Baby, a remake of Stephen King’s The Tommyknockers, and Plymouth, a miniseries from the same people who made The Bible, about the landing of the pilgrims. They had previously greenlit AD: After The Bible, a sequel to The Bible miniseries that did so well for History Channel earlier this year.
