There are three types of Alley Oops, and below we will explain all of them from any console – PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch
Alley-Oop to a Teammate
Simply double-tap the lob pass button and point the left joystick in the direction of the teammate you want to receive the ball from. Triangle on the PlayStation, Y on the Xbox, and X on the Nintendo Switch will be those games.
As you try an alley-oop, make sure your targeted target(s) is(are) either near or at least moving towards the basket. If not, there’s a chance that you’ll accidentally throw the ball out of bounds.
Alley-Oop to Yourself
Simply double-tap the lob pass button once again. This time, however, be sure that your player is approaching the rim while also moving with plenty of room.
It’s critical to leave enough of room for your athlete. Additionally, some practice wouldn’t hurt.
Bounce Pass Alley-Oop
To execute it, the player must simultaneously press the pass and bounce pass buttons while aiming with the left joystick. That’ll be X + O on PlayStation, A + B on Xbox, and X + A on the Nintendo Switch.
