The New York Times gives notice of a new glossy science magazine, Nautilus: Science Connected, and reflects on the boom and bust of science journalism in the last quarter of the 20th Century. Nautilus is funded by the Templeton Foundation. It's inaugural issue, fully online and open to all, is about human uniqueness. I haven't read any of the articles, but is certainly looks smashing.
