A tender coming-of-age story starring Charlie Plummer. Quiet construction worker Dylan (Plummer) is stuck in a cycle of odd jobs to help his family stay afloat. When he finds himself with the opportunity to work at a ranch, he is welcomed by a vibrant community of queer rodeo performers who openly explore their identities, giving Dylan the space to do the same. A soulful exploration of self-identity with a vivid rural Americana backdrop.
National Anthem is directed by Luke Gilford and stars Charlie Plummer, Eve Lindley and Rene Rosado. It premiered at SXSW before playing Toronto International Film Festival and Raindance.
