Inspiring interior design in a celebrity Manhattan duplex apartment
Remember I said "inspiring" not attainable...but that doesn't mean you can't take notes and find more affordable ways to make this eclectic interior design style your own! The interior design in this apartment is not so luxe in that you can't find similar pieces in more affordable versions.
Watts in the dining room. She shares the once artist's loft with Liev Schreiber and their two sons.
The dining room with lights by Apparatus Studio, is my favorite. The table, like a lot of other furniture in the apartment, is from Ralph Lauren Home. Tuareg carpet is vintage, and the console and mirror are antiques.
Watts worked with Ashe + Leandro to turn the loft into a more family-friendly home that was inviting and thoughtfully decorated.
There is something about back to back sofas that I really like. These velvet covered sofas are from RH. The Ralph Lauren Home console is a nice way to create a visual barrier and separate the space into two different areas of the room.
I really like the cabinetry and the hood in the kitchen, which were designed by Ashe + Leandro. The floor tiles are checkerboard concrete.
The boys have an amazing playroom. The rug is a custom-made John Robshaw. The leather sectional look super comfy.
The boys' room is very sweet but not too cutesy. The rug is an antique kilim.
I really like the mix of the bold patterned wallpaper with the floral quilt.
I really like the understated luxury of the this bathroom. The dark gray honeycomb tiles are really nice.
The master bath features penny tiles and washstand sinks.
In the master bedroom, the bed is from RH and the side tables are Ralph Lauren Home. The rug is antique Moroccan of carpeting. The walls are actually covered in Clarence House fabric.
