It looks like the NamesCon auction will continue to use NameJet as it’s auction platform. Previously it looked like the platform was switching to GoDaddy, the TOS had stated that the seller must transfer names to GoDaddy in the event the name sells.
The TOS has changed and , once a Domain is paid you are required to transfer the Domain to your account at NameJet, whereby you are responsible for the related transfer fee, although discounted transfer fee pricing may be available.
From the TOS:
You understand and agree that all domains sold in conjunction with the ROTD Auction at NamesCon 2019 are to be provisioned to their respective Buyers at NameJet. As such, once a Domain is paid you are required to transfer the Domain to your account at NameJet, whereby you are responsible for the related transfer fee, although discounted transfer fee pricing may be available. Please note that you are responsible for the transfer of the Domain and the transfer fee, regardless of how much time is left on the current registration period.

Confirmed – RightOfTheDot and NameJet will be running the pre bidding on the NameJet system as well as the extended auction. GoDaddy will be submitting some great premium owned and operated names to auction and helping with promotion and marketing!
