Mysterious Giant Eyeball Washes Ashore at Pompano Beach, FL

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Florida resident Gino Covacci was talking a walk on Pompano Beach and found what he thought was an ordinary ball. It wasn’t, Covacci had found a giant bloody baseball-sized eyeball. In this video, he explains his unique find. According to Sun Sentinel, Charles Messing, a professor at Nova Southeastern University’s Oceanographic Center, says the eye is “most likely” from a (now half blind) swordfish.
