This past weekend I’ve definitely felt like I’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster. The bf has to be out of town for an entire month for work which pretty much leaves me at home moping with Netfix. Sigh. I spent the weekend trying to feel better (did I mention I was under the weather too?) and soak up all the time I could with my bf before he headed off to Austin. On Saturday, I helped him get mostly packed up and we spent some quality time with his family during the day. Later that night we headed out for a night on the town to a local show here in the city where some great local performers performed along with his cousin, who’s a singer and musician. It was a great night and ended much too quickly for my liking!
Yesterday after I dropped the bf off at the airport, I set about visiting a couple of my local Target stores to see what goodies I could get my hands on from the Phillip Lim x Target collection. Alas, upon waking up yesterday morning I was very disappointed that practically every piece I wanted from the collection was sold out online! But after dropping by 2 Target’s I managed to score one of the bags I wanted – it was the last one in the store – score for me! I also snatched up one of the dresses I had my eye on as well as a sweatshirt and blouse. Pretty productive shopping day, and it helped keep me busy and my mind off of missing the bf. Now, for the next few weeks, I’ll be a busy bee preparing for market week in Los Angeles next month. Glad I have something to keep me busy while he’s away! How was your weekend?
