Orange skirt with exposed side zipper - Ann Taylor (not yet available online)
Necklace - picked up on trip to Italy years ago
Teal pumps - Jessica Simpson (no longer available - similar)
Clutch purse - Novica (no longer available but check their site out, some fabulous handmade beauties!)
Silver cuff and hoops
Tonight I am going to a DC Fashion and Beauty Blogger event at Carbon DC so figured it was a good time to whip out my new skirt! I was dashing to the Metro after work but saw this beauty in the Ann Taylor window. They only had about six on the display, so I ran to the Petites section to see if they had more there. Carlos the manager was filling the department, had a rolling rack and on there was ONE of these skirts, and it was a 12 Petite! FATE! I grabbed it, ran to the register and headed home. So glad to try it on and see it fits! This skirt will surely be a fave through fall and winter, the texture of the material would look great with sweaters, tights and tall boots (if I can find a pair this year!).
Suede heels and a little clutch is perfect for a blogger meetup, but not for commuting from the 'burbs to the heart of DC. That's why this is what I actually wore on my Metro trip:

Hobo purse - Banana Republic (no longer available - similar)
Not as lovely, but far easier to run up escalators to catch a train and space for my book (and of course my clutch and heels!).
