Well technically I’m not a Londoner, but I lived there for a while, so I am at heart. When French people ask me where I come from I generally say that because it’s quicker than saying the middle of nowhere, and trying to explain exactly where that is! Even English people don’t know my home town, so why bother talking about Sussex when it just goes over people’s heads, hehe.
This tee is one of my favourites at the moment, not only because it’s a classy t-shirt, but because it’s my friends at Civissum that designed them, and the concept is wicked cool. Basically it plays on the fact that you can express your cultural influences as well as be fashionable! It refers to JFK’s cult line “Ich bin ein Berliner” said in 1963, where he showed his support to the people of West Germany not long after the Soviet Union constructed the Berlin wall to prevent mass emigration to the West. The shorts are an adaptation of the DIY 2 weeks ago, I just can’t stop buying fabric to make more, this week I’m thinking of doing a scalloped edge…
