Ahhh the culotte, a wonderful item of clothing that looks like a shirt and acts like shorts. They are definitely having an identity crisis. In French “culotte” means girls underwear. I wonder if they are in my closet debating with the other clothes about what they really are. I bet I’m just a little mad for personifying my clothes. At least I havn’t given them a name.
What I love about these Topshop culottes is that they are light and flowy which contrasts so nicely with the angles of the print. That and I don’t have to worry if I want to ride a bike. Actually, women’s culottes were invented long ago so women could ride horses like men but still look like they were wearing a skirt, interesting non?
