I’ve always wanted a name necklace… probably because I’m a huge Sex in the City fan. Carrie bought her name necklace at a fair while she was shopping with the girls. Even though it was inexpensive, she realizes the real value when she loses it during her move to Paris with Alexander Petrovsky. It reminds her of who she is.
And that’s the thing. I’ve had such an amazing journey recently with the adoption of our son. But life has definitely changed! I try to balance motherhood, being a wife, pharmacist, blogger, and oh yeah… me! By the way, my balancing act is HORRIBLE. That’s why this name necklace is so awesome! I AM SAM. SAM I AM. It’s an easy reminder that I’m in there somewhere! :)
And to celebrate my reminder, I tried to wear something very “Sex in the City” and just get dressed up for no reason – very ME!
