My Pure: #June: Evolve & Ecotools

By Evette Garside @evette77

This month's two products from My Pure are from brands Evolve and Ecotools.

My first product is very much focused on hair and is just the thing I needed for the recent very hot weather we have been having.

My Pure: #June: Evolve & Ecotools

This product looks like something straight out of a chemistry lab but it's actually theEvolve nourishing hair elixir.

I have used some other products from the Evolve brand previously, their packaging is fairly basic yet mysterious. Brown pots and bottles with white labels, similar to a chemists. It sort of makes me want to open them even more just to see what's inside.

And inside this bottle is a good quality weightless hair serum which combines three key ingredients to help moisturise and protect the hair. Moroccan Organic Argan oil, mixed with Organic Baobab oil and Tahitian Monoi is a winning formula for controlling frizz and taming fly-away hair. Rich in anti-oxidants, it protects hair from environmental damages and helps regain lost moisture.More information about the 3 ingredients can be found on the product page.

The product comes in a glass bottle with a dropper applicator. The serum is colourless and I use a few drops of this maybe 3 times a week or whenever my hair is feeling a little dry or frizzy. I always use after washing and straightening too.

It does add softness back to my hair, it is not at all greasy when on and smells quite pleasant too. I also use a small amount on my 8 year old daughters hair too as her hair is extremely curly and thick, this product helps towards making it smoother and more manageable.

Being from My Pure does of course mean that it's made from 100% natural ingredients.

The price is £16.00 for a 30ml bottle which is fairly small. The dropper helps to control the amount used so I don't end up pouring too much out. A little bit seems to go a long way with this product.

Ecotools

Make up brushes are not something I buy often or have many of so I was really happy to get this set.

It is a 6 piece set which includes 5 make up brushes and a hemp and cotton case to store them all in. The brushes include Blush Brush, Eye Shading Brush, Angled Eyeliner Brush, Concealer Brush and a Lash & Brow Groomer.

If you are confused on which brush is used for what, then there is lots of useful information online for this. There is also a little card which comes with the brushes giving a brief description for each one.

The brushes are lightweight and seem to be strong and sturdy which I need as my girls tend to play with my make up and accessories. The brushes are all really soft and each one with a bamboo handle. The blush brush is just lovely and evenly spreads blusher across the cheeks.

This included case is a nice added bonus. It means the brushes can all be kept together and lots of room left to keep any I already own.

Not a bad price at all for just £14.99. To buy each brush on its own would probably cost a lot more.

All the brushes and the case are again all made from natural materials.
